A trusted voice within founder, student, and youth ecosystems.
Dylan Cairns
Dylan Cairns is a driven entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and Founder & CEO of Suitable Focus, a multidisciplinary marketing and impact consultancy supporting South African SMEs, personal brands, and growing organisations. With a career that bridges entrepreneurship, global SaaS marketing, digital strategy, and ecosystem development, Dylan has become a sought-after speaker known for delivering practical, transformative insights for founders, creatives, students, athletes, and corporate teams.
Before building Suitable Focus into a national partner for events, content, and business growth, Dylan gained significant international marketing experience in the SaaS, data protection, and cybersecurity space through his work at Redstor, a UK-headquartered global data management and backup company.
From 2022 to 2024, Dylan worked across MEA, UK, EMEA and the US, leading partner acquisition, channel growth, and demand-generation marketing. As Marketing Manager: Partner Acquisition (UK & EMEA), he worked closely with senior leadership—including the VP of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer—executing full end-to-end global campaigns aimed at acquiring new business within Redstor’s strategic Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Through Suitable Focus, Dylan has partnered with SMEs and major brands including FNB, Zoho, Workshop17, Catenary Group, Bloom Marketing, and Doc Deazy, delivering marketing strategies, content systems, brand development, and growth-focused events. He also leads Suitable Focus IMPACT, an arm dedicated to youth pathways, student development, entrepreneurship support, and national community initiatives.
Over the past five years, Dylan has spoken to more than 10,000–12,000 people across universities, incubators, community organisations, corporates, and digital platforms. His sessions blend strategic clarity with practical direction—helping entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals build structure, intentional growth, and strong personal brands.
A standout example of his work includes facilitating the Business & Life Skills Programme with FNB and Cape Town City FC, providing players with transition pathways, financial understanding, and entrepreneurial exposure beyond their sports careers.
At the core of Dylan’s personal brand is intentionality, discipline, service, and the belief that value is built from within—within identity, within systems, and within consistent execution.
